Service Description
Massage has many therapeutic benefits for dogs and Swedish massage in particular is a great way to introduce your dog to massage. During the session your dog will relax in their own private "spa room" with an aromatherapy mist and calming music to set the scene for their massage. Our Swedish Massage is 30 minutes long. We allow extra time during your appointment so your dog can fully settle into their massage. Swedish Massage incorporates: Effleurage: smooth, gliding strokes to relax soft tissue. Petrissage: squeezing, rolling, or kneading. Friction: deep, circular movements to increase blood flow and break down scar tissue. Tapotement: tapping with cupped hands, fingers, or the edge of the hand. Vibration We pay particular attention to your dog's body language during their session to ensure that they are enjoying their spa experience and are comfortable with their massage. Our Swedish dog massage is safe and enjoyable for all ages and sizes. It has a wonderful calming effect for nervous and anxious dogs and is a great tool to promote circulation and mobility in senior dogs. Although Swedish Massage has many beneficial therapeutic affects, this is essentially a relaxation massage and not a remedial massage. Cancellation Policy
To cancel or reschedule, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance. Bookings cancelled or rescheduled within 24 hours will be charged to the card used at booking a non refundable fee of $20. For all grooms we will assess your dog at the commencement of their appointment. Matted dogs will be charged an extra $30/groom. This is to cover the extended time required to safely remove matted fur. If your dog bites or shows signs of aggression or severe discomfort with the grooming process, we will not rebook your dog, and their initial groom may be cancelled depending on their demeanour. It is more important to us to have safe grooming for both our staff, and your dog.
